But one nod came from Firepelt then. She did not voice anything else. Not for the moment. At the time, she wasn't entirely sure what to say just yet. Perhaps it was alright to merely rest then.
She lay her head down, putting herself in a comfortable position and breathed out. Firepelt had closed her eyes. She listened to the sounds of the drizzle become rain. She listened as it hit the Earth's soil. She heard the soft hummings of the Earth. The movement of creatures underground.
She didn't realize she was drifting into slumber.

Sandcloud didnt respond anymore than he had previously. He more or less layed down in another spot of the den. He was deeper in, it made him more comfortable.
He too was drifting off into sleep. The sound of the rain was calm and soothing. It seemed to be getting heavirr in downpour, but Sandcloud didn't care.
He only fell asleep. Though, after a cackle of thunder, Sandcloud joltrd awake. He looked over to Firepelt's sleeping fom, before closing his eyes once again.

Running... Running. Running! She continued to run, faster and faster. How much longer could she go? This cat was no cheetah, she could only go so fast. she was no monster on those black solid...things. Since she was not that either, she was able to run out of energy.
She had to keep going. It was important to find her sister. Important to see- "Ravenfur!" Ravenfur looked to where that sound was coming from, rushing over soon after. She followed along a small soil path, until reaching a river of rushing waters.
"Silvermoon!" She cried, before the currents swept her away as well. Just as it had, Firepelt jolted awake. She panted, looking around the den. ...Ah..that's right. I am Firepelt now, medicine cat of Lava- I mean, Smokeclan. And Silvermoon is long gone... Recalling that, telling herself to get back with reality, Firepelt stretched.
The storm had calmed itself since Firepelt--and apparently Sandcloud--fell alseep. It was still cloudy out, but not as dark as before. The rain falling came in small short drizzles. It looked like soon..it'd stop. The drizzle of the rain was going to stop soon...

Sandcloud lay asleep in the small den. He didn't notice Firepelt stir, nor even the noise of the storm. Or it even dying down. He stayed there snoozing away.
He was probably unknowingly snoring.

OOC: It is funny, and while it doesn't reach the minimum post count, I can let it pass since it is close. Next time, please try to reach at least 50 words, as the rules state. I will post a reply in character soon.

Finally, the rain had stopped. With a pleased short purr, Firepelt stepped out. The feeling was like she stepped into a new world; a new life. Of course, she simply felt the softened ground. It was pretty mushy, lots of mud. ...Of course. Shaking her head at the displeasure, yet still Firepelt started wandering forward. Even though Sandcloud was still sleeping, she appeared to not be willing to wait for him.
At the moment, something else was on her mind. She wanted the chance at exploring her thoughts a little. Just for a short while. Perhaps...perhaps make her way to the volcano. Ah...it'd be warmer there, wouldn't it? Though, she may not go there for heat, nor at all maybe. Considering the rain, warm moist ground really displeased her. Firepelt may not go that direction after all. But, she did move on forward...
