A part of Akio wondered why he said anything. She was too...out of it to surf, wasn't she? He sighed to himself, hoping he did not make a mistake merely then. "I can show you. It'll be easier for both of us that way." He believed and so went to where he'd been sitting previously. He took a surfboard that had been lying on the sand next to his chair.
"I can show you the basics. But you have to pay close attention. It can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. First, watch the waves. For a beginner, it's better to start with small waves. And from the looks of it, the weather and waves are on a beginner's side." He stood on the surfboard. "When you get in the water, you'll want to be sitting, or lying on the board. Once you're in enough, you balance yourself like this. Now, you should be able to ride the waves, so long as you and the board can keep balance. You got that?"

"Uh huh, I'm going to pay complete attention." Said Sandra. She watched what Akio did. Though, whether she was truly comprehending it was a current mystery. Howeber, af leasy it looked like she was trying.
So she waited unrik Akio finished. When he asked if she understiod, Sandra nodded in a wild manner. "Hoh, yeah, I'm ready! Let's start this! Or is there more!?"

"Uh-erm no... I suppose we can begin..." Without speaking it, Akio wasn't sure she was actually ready. Still, he could provide her a chance. Though why give it to a girl who's mad off sugar? This idea might turn out wrong truly in the end. That was exactly why Akio would pay close attention. He just needed to make sure she'd make it out in the end.
"I'll be here if you have any trouble." Said Akio as he got off the surfboard, and picked it up. He held it to his side as he began his walk to the moving waters. "Now you have to be careful too. If you do manage to get in a wave, you could easily fall off. And falling in water from certain heights can hurt." He knelt down in the sand as he put the board in the water. "Though this is big enough to fit both of us. If you want to try with me first. Or I can show you first. Or whatever you'd like. I'll let you take your pick, Sandra."
He wondered if that was such a good idea. Good grief.

(Lol, the last line!)
Sandra rolled her eyes playfully. That did cause her to feel a bit dizzy, but she decided to ignore it. After all, it only lasted a seccond.
"Psh, I can try on my own. I can do it, yeah! Let's get surfin'!" She took the board, ran through the water as much as her body would allow. Sandra put thr board on the water, once the water reached her knees.
Sandra attepted to get on the board. When she did, she shouted, "Haha, I'm doing it!" Not long after she lost hwr balancr and flipped inti rhe water. The board had flipped upside down by then.

Watching her, Akio held a disbelieving look. During that, he questioned his own sanity for allowing her to try this on her own in the first place. Proven right, exhibit A.. Akio sighed, and walked into the water. Rushing in wouldn't help, it'd only tire him out, then they'd both be in trouble. He hoped she could at least swim until he got there.
Trying to give pace, Akio moved further in. The water was getting higher and higher. Not too much more now. And finally, he'd reach her. Akio moved his hands and arms out, ready to help Sandra. He tried taking her by the arm gently, attempting to stand her up.
