By the volcano, a smaller black cat wandered by. It almost looked like she belonged, but it was a fact she didn't. In a way, she was a part of Treeclan, intruding on Smokeclan territory. In other way, she was more or less a loner. How that was even possible was not fully known. The cat basically did her own thing, especially nowadays with the way things had been lately.
The cat was Petripelt, and she continued her way around the volcano. "I am not hiding." She admitted out loud. "If there are any Smokeclan cats, I'd like to see some." She meowed bravely, as though it wasn't a crime of her trespass.
The loner side of her did not care. The clan side of her did. However...was there anything else she could do? No, she was looking for a particular cat. Surely another cat would understand, but Petripelt was still young. She was older than a kitten, but not an adult. She could be an easy snack, thus she was careful.

"You are seeing one." A cat from nearby mused. Sandcloud walked over o Petripelt, purring in greetinf.
"Greetings to you, stranger. I haven't seen cats from other clans lately. I assume you are planning to explain why you have come here." Sandcloud meowed while he sat down infront of her.
For a moment he licked his paw, and moved it over his ear. He was not on defense at all, for he felt she wasn't there for a fight. She looked ypung, and appeared not at all agressive. Of course, Sandcloud couldn't be too careful, but he himself didn't want to give her the wrong idea by showing hostility.
"You may address me as Sandcloud, warrior of Smokeclan."

The black cat's eyes reflected the light above as she focused them to see the Smokeclan cat approaching her. She held back a purr, apparently having wanted to out of feeling pleased. Yes, seeing another living cat in these hard times was so rare, it made her heart soar. ...Even though she was technically not of that clan. Still, "It's nice to see some other cats up and about. A little worrisome, I admit, making it rather lonely these days. You understand?"
She bowed her head to him, but lifted it so her eyes would meet his gaze. "I am Petripelt. My affiliation... Whatever you can smell from me and assume with your own mind, you can bet you already know where I come from. If not, well...whatever you feel free to associate me with. Either way, no matter what, I think you can tell I come here not in seeking of any sort of violence. I assure you that."
