Second to last game, everyone went into a large room. Rather, it wasn't large compared to the room everyone met and ate in, but still. It had a long table in the center, designed for Around the Table Ping Pong. Simple thing really, it could have been changed to suit other table related games, but for this in particular was that of Ping Pong.
With the starting participants, there is but one table set up. Everyone stands around that table of course. There are two paddles, one each at the end of the table, as well as one ball.
One person serves, drops the paddle on the table, and moves in a clockwise direction around the table. The person on the left comes and picks up the paddle to return the ball. Everyone gets a chance to hit the ball, and are allowed two misses before being out. When there are two people remaining...they must hit the ball, place the paddle down, turn around, pick up the paddle, and return the ball; until one of them misses and is out.
"And I will sit this one out." Louise claimed. No one said anything, so she continued, "We did take a break from that last game. My legs are still tired though, like jelly ready to turn back into water. Go play, I don't mind. We're all going to be in the next game anyway." And she smiled. She was going to be a host for the game, as it was decided already.
"Alright, and the spirits are sitting out." Natsuki said, feeling eager to play for the help it'd get her mind off things for awhile. "Kastel and Tahna will be busy.. This will leave us with eleven participants. Myself included."
The cats sitting by the hosts purred. It was an encouraging sound and perhaps that's why they did so. They were joined by the spirits who stood or sat near them.
"Then if all are ready, we can start~." Said Relika as she went over to the table. One by one, everyone else taking a part in the game came over to surround the table. With that, nothing more to explain, it would begin.
Those participating gathered around the table, already having begun to play. Sepia and Rhenyph were the first to start off. The brown haired girl had a good arm, but in the end, Rhenyph prevailed. Sepia had gone to sit out, shrugging at her loss.
Next was Haku versus Miya, which Haku had accidentally shot the ball at Miya's nose. Therefore, through the round, Haku let Miya get the ball past him, letting her win. When Vahnahda and Arsen played against one another, Arsen had won. Natsuki was quick to win against Marisa.
Next Relika lost to Raiden, who had shot like lightning compared to her, in which he may have used his powers a little to do so. Kana lost to Miya, and Rhenyph won against Natsuki. Arsen had lost to Rhenyph next, and Raiden won against Miya.
It was final Raiden and Rhenyph would face one another, and whomever of the two would be left standing. And they played, but a winner had not come out. They appeared to be matched, or for all everyone knew, were going easy on each other. At the rate the boys were going, it was more tiring them out than getting closer to a clear ending. Thus, it was decided as a draw; a tie.
Thus, that was how the game went and ended.
In the meantime the game was going on and ending, Kastel and Tahna had made it to the Portal Room. The winged girl helped the red head up, flying into the starry room. Tahna could feel her weight decrease, and soon realized once they were in the starry world itself, gravity did not matter as much. However, falling was still possible. But not as quickly, it was like a walk on the moon pretty much. It was for that reason, Tahna needed someone to lift her, until she could go to her world personally. And so she did, with Kastel's help.
They were gone. The girls had gone to their worlds, only to come back later. It had been likely not over thirty minutes. Kastel once again helped Tahna to the hallway of the building, letting her land softly on her feet.
"Thanks..." Tahna spoke softly, watching herself to be sure she kept her balance. Then she looked at Kastel, it was clear she had cried earlier, but to what extent was certainly unknown. "Heheh, look at you. Can't deny what you did while there, Kastel."
Wiping her face self consciously, to make sure all tears were gone, Kastel took a moment before she spoke. "Wasn't easy. You understand, right?"
"Hmn...to a point." Tahna said after a simple moment's thought. "But remember, there wasn't much in my world since certain events. There's technically nothing I could live for in that world anymore. I was pretty much broken at full, dooming myself to the dangers of insanity. So, now that it's frozen, it doesn't make too much a difference for me."
"I'm sorry. ...So, you'll be looking forward to moving on? I made my decision on it already."
"Yes..it would have been different probably if I had gotten to know some more people and actually befriend someone or more...after certain happenings. It didn't happen though, so really, I can only think to move forward and start over. Perhaps my family and old friends will be proud of me in the end."
"That's good at least." Kastel admitted, looking back up to the starry world above. "I think they will, as for everyone else's. Just think of what we may be able to accomplish by choosing our own paths after this."
".....Meh, maybe." Looking uncertain, even scared, Tahna started to walk forward. She clearly was in deeper thought than before... She gave a troubled look while her head bent towards the ground. She saw her shadow there, following from the ground as the lights above shined, making that shadow live. She stopped then, feeling a hand on her shoulder.
"You'll be fine. You've been trying since, and for those who try, are the most best rewarded."
At that, Tahna gave away a small smile. "Thanks Kastel. You'll be successful too in the future, I've no doubts." She continued walking after Kastel had let her go. The winged girl followed after her. Soon, their steps grew more even as Kastel started to walk next to her rather than behind her.
"You're too forgiving... I do not deserve this kindness so...easily."
"You're being more hard on yourself than anyone else is on you."
"Heheh, you are too kind. .......Thank you."
"Yeah..it's because you showed me the real you."
"The real me, huh... Heh, hehe..hehehahaha..."

"Hey Tahna?"
"Nn?"
"Even after we part ways later today, can we still be friends?"

".....Yes....I've always..wanted true friends... Thank you for everything by far..Kastel, and everyone else."
