"Huh!?" Farrell soon exclaimed, hearing a cry og pain when he set his foot down. Thn he saw tge table move a little with noise that made it like someone hit ot.
He looked underneath and saw the one responsible. "Rubia? What are- heh, come out from under there."
He was surprised ar first, bir now seemed to be more amused. "Here, come on and grab a seat. I'll treat you to food."

The look on her face was that of being startled even when having expected it, as also annoyance. Whether it was towards him or herself was unclear. It could even have been towards him and herself. Though with the expression she had softening, she moved out from under the table.
For the moment, she stretched her back out. Having been curled down there wasn't something she liked necessarily. It would have been worth it if she got what she came for. With a sigh, Rubia eyed him with distrust. "That wont make a difference, Farrell. If you are using your wealth to try making up for- hm, I know you are just showing off. Laughing in my face."
Reluctantly, she sat down in a chair across from him. As much as the past between her family and his ruined her, she was hungry. Thus, Rubia was willing to allow him to spend money on her for food. She wouldn't dare take her eyes off him, there was no way he could poison her or do something awful without making it public.

Farrell watchef her, then chuckled to what she said. "Rubia. I'm being nice here, if I really wanted to hurt you, or just didnt want you around, I would have stated it."
He asked for another menu from a passing by waiter, and was handed one. "Here. Now, tell me what you'd like." Farrell set the menu on the table infront of her.
He waited, taking a sip of his drink while eating some more his food.

While she hardly noticed, Rubia had a low growl hit inside her throat. He sounded like he was being polite, but the way he worded it annoyed her. It was thought he was lying there and then. For that, Rubia scoffed. He thinks he's so special...
There was no saying anything more, but Rubia did stare intently at him as he placed the menu infront of her. For a second, Rubia looked at the menu, then to him, and to the menu again finally. Soon enough, she opened it on the table, and looked through it. She could not see him clearly and so wasn't letting her guard down.
"This." She pointed to a food item. "And for a drink, I'll take iced water." She sat up straight, showing a proud look on her face with a quick single nod.

With a raised eyebrow, Farrell nodded. He noticed the price though and failed to hide a laugh. "Quite expensive. Is this revenge I see?"
He meant it as a joke, but knew she wouldn't like it anyway. After all, she was pretty ticked off at gim.
And he knew....apologies wouldn't help. It'd only make things worse between her and him.

With a quick glare she declared, "I have rights too."
Quietly, she thought back to the fail attempt at taking what she needed of him. Perhaps her own hunger was why she couldn't fulfill her desire in the first place. Or sheer bad luck. ...Probably both. So, she wondered her next move. Just how could she outsmart him, and take what should be hers?
He did not deserve it. Not him, nor his family. Someday, she would take his precious item. He likely suspected that since he knew of her grudge. There was no way he'd make it easy, especially for Rubia. However, she would obtain it. With no regrets, she'd take it from him one way or another.
"So...where are you heading next?" She asked him in suspicion. Where might he be going with that precious gem...?

Farrell smiled to thr first response she made. It was kind of cute the way Rubia said tgat. She would say so otherwise of course. He knew better, he knew not to make things worse. Or try not to.
Farrell lost his thoughts of those once he saw his waiter. While Rubia probably eyed him suspiciously, he ordered her meal. After it was completed, he frowned when Rubia asked such a thing.
"....Why are you wondering that? Even if I told you, that information would be of no use to you." He paused, letting those words sink in. While doing so, Farrell felt for the item he hid. To his relief, it was still there, and someone would really havr to fight him to get it.
He didn't like the idea of hurting a girl, especially Rubia. "We've known each other for awhile kid, you know that. As ill as you think of me, as much a monster I am to you now, I still want you safe. My advice, after we finish eating and part ways, I suggest you go home."
Around then, the waiter came to give Rubia her drink, which Farrell hoped would prolong the pause of their conversation.

In silence, Rubia stared at him. She did not blink, nor move. She did not show anything that was on her mind at the time. The girl remained so until the waiter left. While that had gone on, she thought to herself.
His words were believable. She wanted to think they were true, and she believed it to be. However, of certainty, she still hadn't forgiven him. And he had something she needed. Though, she kept the idea of him caring stapled in her mind.
She frowned. "You truly believe I would simply leave after coming all this way? I think you know me more than that, Farrell. Try again." She couldn't go home. Not so soon, not when she didn't have what was needed to fix what happened.
"And yes, I made sure to choose the most expensive food item, that I liked of course, in which you'd pay for." She glared. "Still, thank you for the meal. I think I actually will enjoy it. I like to dine on something I can rarely have, thanks to being poor. So, for the fact you didn't refuse even though it's expensive, I truly am grateful."
Her glare lightened as a small smile formed, it showed she was being honest. However, she was still angry enough with other thoughts about the whole thing, her smile was a little awkward. It almost made her look less pleased than Rubia actually was.

Farrell gave an annoyed look, and sat back in his seat. "Well then." He mumbled. He stared at Rubia, examing how serious she was. But he didn't need to examine in order to know.
For the silent moment, he moved his foot up and down on thw flooring. And Farrell finally spoke, "yes, you wouldn't leave that easily, not this soon. A shame I cant change your mind. But i wonder why..."
He dug into his pocket, putting his hand over the device hw held. "It's about what I have, isn't it?" Farrell kept it in his pocket, keeping his stare fixrd on her. "No matter what your reasons are, you wont hav it. It's mine, and I use it for my family only."
He paused when the waiter delivered Rubia's food. After he left, Farrell added, "but, you are welcome, Rubia. Please, do enjoy your meal I buy for you." Farrell smiled too, a little lightly as Rubia did.

With clenched teeth, Rubia showed her disdain towards him and his words. He really got under her skin this time. No matter what she said, was it? Not that she'd tell him. Rubia figured his heart wasn't the one who'd give a damn for her. After all, she wasn't a part of his family, no...
"I shall." She added after he said for her to enjoy her now here meal. "And by the way Farrell, you selfish waste of air, I will get what I want of you. Just wait~. You cannot keep your guard up forever." She smiled confidently then. Rubia lowered her voice for the next words she'd speak, to sound more serious and possibly threatening as well. "You may be rich and have a lot of power, but even you aren't perfect. I'll be waiting for that to show; it'll be the day I show you my capabilities more so than prior..."

"Pfft-, who's selfish now?" Farrell scoffed after Rubia finished. He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Good luck, ungrateful kid. Around you, i know not to keep my guard down. You shouldn't have told me, or maybe I would have lowered my guard at some poibt near you."

When Farrell mentioned Rubua being ungrateful, she simply huffed out some air from her mouth. Most likely, it was a result of irritation as well as agreement towards him. That was correct, she wasn't grateful to him anymore.
She smiled mischievously. "...Maybe I wanted you to know, provided you give me more a challenge later. You have...no idea."

"I give you credit for the determination. It wont be enough, not that the fact will stop you, so you'll just have to try harder."
He smirkd challengingly to Rubia, before going back to finishing his meal. After just a couple more minutes, he did finish.
"Well then. After I pay, once the bill arrives that is, it'll be where we will part."
(That was me tome skipping of tgat eas alright.)

OOC: All good^^

"Hmph." The girl simply did to what Farrell said. And once she saw him return to finishing his meal, Rubia took the chance to start hers as well. She was nearly done when she noticed Farrell finished.
Wiping some food grease with her arm, Rubia took a drink of her water. She knew rushing would do her no good. If she wanted to continue tracking him and everything, she needed to feel up for it. Eating and drinking too fast would cause an effect she'd rather not have.
With a quick--not announcing how she felt--glance to him, Rubia went back to her meal. She did not answer him, nor anything aside from eating. And so she herself would soon enough finish too.

There was a shrug to her no response, so Farrell jusy left it at tgst. He waited for the bill, and while Farrell did, he lightly tapped his foot on the ground.
Apparently now hat ir eas apparent Rubia would be after his precious item, he was eager to keep it safe more so than before. That must have been why she was under the table too, to try and take it.
When the bill came, his thoughts were broken and he got his money out. He took out the specific amount of cash needed, and let it be with the bill.
"Our meals tpgether costed close to a hundred. I hope it was wortg it."
