Suddenly, Farrell attempted to hug Rubia. "...I'm sorry for everything that is happening. I believe you're telling the truth. I want yiu to br happy, but i stoll can't help you.. I'm sorry...again."
If she had allowd his hug, Farrell would break that hug, separating himself from her. Farrell looked straight into her eyes. "Your famiy needs to stand on their own twi feet. You need to learn about letting go. We no longer can help you..see we ran low on money. We need tgat back. This tracker is soley for the use of obtaining what we need. But you...you need to go back home. Your family needs you, just be there for them."

Not having expected it, Rubia found herself embraced in his hug. Her eyes widened in surprise, but she did not react otherwise. There was no relief..but her mood did not get worse either just by his gentle touch. All she could do at that moment was listen to him, even as he stopped the hug so they could look right into each other's eyes.
"Farrell, we can't..that's why we asked for the Gryphons help in the first place. We would if we could, in fact if we'd just had a little more time-" She stopped herself and looked down as his words sunk in. Suddenly, Rubia pulled each her hands into tight fists, quivering slightly. "Is it you can't help, or you choose not to?" She stared at him pleadingly. "If it's because of earlier, I'm really sorry! But my family is dying! How could you choose money over helping others live, especially old friends! It's not like we're strangers!!"
Suddenly, Rubia aimed to grab his shirt as though afraid he'll pull away and leave. "I can't let go! Please understand...it'd be the same if it were happening to you too, wouldn't it? I can't just go back home like this, I can still help them. We could help them."

"Rubia, do not shout. You'll grab too much attention. Neither og us wabr thay i bet." He sighed to Rubia's next words. Thinking over what she said, he confirmed with a frown. It was followed by a shake of the head.
"It's not because of earlier...but yes we aren't strangers. That doesn't make me any less strict. I still will not help in something not my business. This journey I've taken only involces my family's goal. Yiu can butt oyt of it."
Farrell did not hesitate with the usage of such words. Instead, he only continued, "I'd stay with my familt.theyd need me there fot them. Not going on some pointless trip that will not save them. The only way to help them is when you go back home."
He shoom his head again towards her words. "You're only makinh it harder on yourself. Pftah, this isn't my problem, it doesn't concern me. Go home, Rubia."

"Don't tell me what to do!" Rubia demanded in anger. Tears freely flowed from her face towards those words he spoke. She couldn't believe he'd speak like that. They use to be better friends in the past. What happened to those good times? "What's happened to you? You cared a lot more when we hung out back then. How is now any different just because our families stopped seeing and helping one another? We did not make enemies with you, or at least we didn't intend to."
Rubia looked down, anger and grief filling her heart. She glared at the ground, cursing it. She wanted to stomp on it and create a dent, but considering she was human, that'd be impossible. Still, imaginations were a good thing at this point, for she could just think of it and that itself was satisfying.
".....Not enough.." She mumbled. "I can still help them now, at this point where I am, would be better than sitting around depressingly watching everyone die or leave without warning. I told you already, need I repeat myself, I cannot go home. I can help them, I will. I promised them. ...How dare you make light of it. How dare you show no concern infront of me who is being affected by all this..."

"I am concerned and i do care, Rubia." Farrell looked around, noticing they had grabved a few people's attention. He quickly looked back to her. "The Winters didn't make enemies with us. We'd still welcomr your familt for an occasional dinner."
He shook his head then and glared at her. "But you are basically telling me you don't care enough for them since you wont go back. You'd ratger chase an empty wish that wont come tru. You're the one who's ruimonh our friendship as of late. Especially with what you've been doing, it's not helping."

OOC: Farrell o-o
IC:
Tears came down Rubia's cheeks at the first of his response. Concerned..impossible, he wouldn't be saying all the other things if he truly was. At the same time, Rubia thought--hoped--it was true. Did he honestly care, or was he saying that to not drag too much more of the wrong attention from the people around? Rubia wanted to believe him, but with the rest of his words, it did not fit.
She bit down on her lip, his next words stabbing into her. That wasn't true..not even a little. "..I...of course care, otherwise I'd not be on this trip. I do care...! How dare you think I don't! What do you know?!" Rubia told him in a small voice, looking down. She wondered if deep down maybe she really didn't care enough. Was she doing the right thing? What would be correct though, and what was wrong?
"I'm ruining it?" She had to laugh at that, believing he was one to talk. However, during and after her laughing, tears poured down her cheeks even more. In the end, Farrell wasn't going to help, nor did he think their friendship would work out. Part of Rubia couldn't blame him, after all she said earlier, but he told her that wasn't the issue. She called him a fiend earlier, but later apologized about the whole conversation, but to him, that was not the issue.
"I'm sorry..." She said regardless. "I'm very sorry."

Farrell sighed and crossed his arms. He saw them, her tears, he didn't admit it made him sorry for her. This is why ypu should be back witj them.
He nodded once to her repeating him saying she was ruining their relation with one another. Then he sighed again when she apologized repeatedly. it was only a momentof longer silence before he decided it was enough.
"I understand it hurts, that's why you should go back home. It's over rubia go home." He turned around, did not look back, and start to Walk away. Though rather than leaving her, he was looking for someone who could help her home.
"Excuse me, sir." Farrell spoke as he managed to stop a cab. "My friend needs to get home. Here's the money you'll need if you don't mind. Please, i would myself, but I have to be elsewhere. It's important. Thank ypu."

"No..." The girl whispered. It was over? She had to go back? She promised she wouldn't. No matter what Farrell said. ...That was it! Why should he have the control, why should he have all the decisions? Rubia was powerless... That was, no, had to be the reason! He had everything he could ever want or need. Rubia had barely a scrap.
For that, she might have to give in. So, Rubia felt her shoulders slump down as she hung her head. She slowly went to the car, Farrell wanted her in. In a way, it was almost like she were being arrested. While Farrell talked to the man, Rubia got in the backseat of the car. She felt heavy, yet empty. Her chest, her heart hurt. Those tears were threatening to fall again.
"How much are you giving him...? Does he know how to get to where I live?" She asked Farrell with a lack of life to her voice, not looking at him. She stared at the back of the passenger seat. She looked broken and dishearted, but inside, her mind was alive. Did Farrell really believe it would end right here...?

"One hundred. In case, I mean it is a little far from here. If there's any change, he will give it to you. I think it'd be good for you and your famiky to have, if there is any change. If not..."
Farrell pulled out a fifty, and placed it in Rubia's hand. "That should do it for now. Try spending for things you need more than want for the timr being. I'll see you someday again. Best wishes."
Stepping back, Farrell nodded to the driver to go. Rhat he was done speaking with her. Farrell waved, while the driver started to move the car away.

"....Thanks...hah..." Said the white haired girl before she let out a breath of feigned relief. Finally, she looked in Farrell's direction as he stepped back and closed the door. She stared out the window at him, her tears apparent, and they had definitely started to fall. She was struck down to believing he cared in a different way. He cared, but not in the way she hoped.
Though they were friends, Rubia planned in her mind of darker deeds. At that point, she may have to. If he wasn't going to help, she'd have to try in a more forceful way. She didn't like it, she didn't want to hurt Farrell, but he was hurting her more than he realized. I'm sorry...but you're a traitor.
So, Rubia waited until she was driven out of town. She waited until she and the driver were on a lone and quiet rode. Then she spoke, her plans hidden away in her mind, "Know where you are going? I could help direct if you need."

"Directions eh? Ya, I may need some soon. Jus' uh wanna make ah sure da right way is taken." He answered, taking a cigarette out of his pocket. Apparently, he didn't care someone else was in the car. Rather, he lit the cigarette at a stop light. The man would wait for the light to turn green as he smoked.
Meanwhile, Fareel continued down the sidewalk. He was close to the edge of the city. A part of his mind bothered Farrell about Rubia. There was nothing he could do though. She was on her way home. It was over.
Farrell looked over his shoulder, expecting Rubia to appear there. Expecting her to comment about him leaving hrr behind. "I don't feel guilty. How can I? I did what was right. She needed to be home for her family."
He started walking again, with no turning back.
(I wasn't sure if the cigarette add was okay, if not I can change it. Sorry if it's wrong, though it'd be this one thing. I just wanted to show he's impolite. )

(The cigarette is fine! In fact most things are fine except explicit sexual content, but I doubt you two are much into that, so I'm not worried. Carry on!)
